Mammoth book giveaway!

My husband and I were driving home from the Mizzou football game the other day, past Halloween costume shops and corn mazes and it really hit me that fall is here. Sometimes, it's hard to remember than when it's eighty degrees in St. Louis.

But here's another reminder - The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2 is going to be coming out. It's set to release on September 22, but a few stores already have it and now you can too.

I'm giving away a copy of the book which includes a lovely story called Love Bites by Angie Fox. It's about Princess Katarina Volholme D' Transylvania, an eight-hundred-and-seventy three-year-old vampire who decides to rebel and ends up in the arms of her father's bodyguard, who happens to be an empath and can hear everything this wild-child-wanna-be vampire wants to do to him.

Also look for a fantastic story by our very own Ann Aguirre, Circle Unbroken. I'll let Ann give you the summary, but let me just say I was lucky enough to get a sneak peek and this story is completely addicting.

So enter here to win your copy of The Mammoth Book of Vampire Romance 2. Just tell us your favorite thing about fall and you're entered. Good luck!

My favorite thing is the leaves and weather. Watching the leaves change color is so cool especially when you can drive and take a trip and see them. But I love the weather, when it is cool but not cold in the mornings and nights but nice during the day.

Oh sounds like a good story :)

Fall, well I am not a big fan of fall, rain, mud, storms and the cold. Darkness. But I do like to curl up next top my cutie when it's dark outside and drink some tea

I love it when the temperature drops from the high nineties to the low nineties. Sometimes even into the eighties. Those are nice days. But then, I live in Florida and we don't really get fall. Unless that December to March time where we might have some cold days could count as fall for us.

(I am clothdragon at gmail too.)

Sweaters.

I love wearing sweaters or sweat shirts. And sweat pants or fleece pants. Love it.

Oh, and the leaves changing colors is awesome. But yeah, sweaters. Love them.

My favorite thing about Fall is the cooler weather and leaves turning to all the brilliant earthy tones. And cooking in the kitchen again because the added warmth of baking pumpkin pies and roasting meat is such a homey feel.

There are a couple of things I love about fall, Several have been said already, Leaves, Cooler weather, Sweaters, Oh and I agree with Armenia, I love to start baking again. Stews and Chilis for me!
But really what I love about fall is that it will soon he the holiday season. Starting with Halloweeen! I have two kids and it just gives me a excuse to play with costume stuff!

My favorite thing about fall is the weather. I love that it is not blistering hot out but yet still warm enough to be comfortable...I am the gal that hates the cold. I just really enjoy the feel of the season.

Congrats on the upcoming release!!`

I love the possibilities of fall fashion! The in-between weather allows for a wide-range of clothing types/styles.

While I'm not there yet, my favorite thing about the fall is school is back in session. My son is only 2, so I'm not sending him off or anything, but its just the atmosphere. High school football games, bonefires, halloween - you really can't have the same kind of fun during the summer, it's just not the same; plus, while it does tend to get a little crazy with school starting, it just seems like everything starts to slow down. I'm not constantly going and I can finally relax. Plus, my son will start school 3 days a week next year; this will be our last fall at home together.

I love the weather.. to hear during the night the rain and how it smells in the morning (It's sounds so corny!) But I hate puddles!
IT's a love-hate relationship =)

Apples from the orchard and homemade apple pie! Fall always gets my sister the baker in the mood to start making her delicious pies.

Living in the south, my favorite thing about Fall is the declining temperatures. I love days when you can open the windows, play outside without passing out from dehydration and crunchy leaves. It couldn't be fall without crunchy leaves.

I love the weather and the fact that it is very near to the end of the year.

Watching the leaves change colors. Or taking a walk and hearing them crunch under my feet. Of course, if the leaves are wet, that just grosses me out!

I could never live anywhere that didn't have the change of seasons.

I love the colors-bright, beautiful, rich-dark purples, burnt oranges, deep reds, beautiful burgundy deep rich earth tones- I love them.

I also love the crisp air, the smell of bonfires, apple cider, hayrides, Harvest festivals and Halloween.

I am an Autumn girl at heart so I love everything about it-except that it leads to winter. :-)

Please enter me for the Mammoth contest.

I live in Miami so I don't get to see leaves (or the weather for that matter) change. It's all about college football for me. That's when I know fall has arrived.

Thanks for the giveaway!

I live in Florida, so I do really get to see or feel the change of the seasons... It's still 85+ every day. So my favorite part of fall is a little lame... I love when September rolls around because Starbucks brings back the Pumpkin Spice Latte.

Well we're in spring down here and it's hot enough already to be full summer. The weather is very weird this year.
My favourite thing about autumn is the heat factor drops enough to spend more time during the day outdoors (we're talking 120F here during summer for weeks at a time with 80%+ humidity).
