The second book in my series called KEPT has been turned into my editor! Yes! *fist pump*
Since I'm in a post-deadline haze that could be better described as a zombie shuffling around my house looking at the carnage of neglected chores, I thought I'd offer a giveaway: ASCENSION by Sable Grace, and some swag I grabbed at DragonCon to a commenter who leaves some suggestions on the best way to decompress. I've done pedicures and even had a massage before. But I'm open to all sorts of suggestions to relax and refuel my creative energy. Cause I am ex-haust-ed!
Have a great week everyone!

Congratulations on making the deadline! Normally, I would recommend you indulge in a great book. There's something very appealing about being taken away, meeting a dashing hero or two or conquering a few bad guys to save the day. However, you might want to rest your eyes so I suggest getting out and enjoying the sunshine. Over here I would be busy tackling the mountain trails and getting in some exercise. Couple that with sleep and food to rejuenate, then repeat. Okay...also a few pages of a good book in between :) Yay, you can do the "fist pump* again. Hoot! Hoot!
I would get a hotel room for the night, go out to dinner and just relax and get away from it all for a day.
When I really need to decompress, spending time knitting works wonders. Working with yarn that is both colorful and wonderfully soft is very soothing to the crazy brain. Add a little chocolate, drink of your choice, a comfortable chair and friends to laugh with.
I would say, sit down, have chocolate nearby and watch any Jane Austen adaption :)
