Adventures at San Diego Comic Con 2012

San Diego Convention Center
Happy Monday, everyone.

I thought I'd post last week, but the haze I had when I got back from San Diego Comic Con really didn't go away. For the past week I've been in a fog getting my house back in order and then packing again for RWA--which is in California as well. :)

All in all, I had a blast! On Thursday morning, I got to giveaway and sign one hundred copies of Coveted. (That's a lot of books...) To be honest, at first I thought, I'm going to have to throw these books at people. LOL No one will show up and I'll probably sign one or two of them. Naturally, things didn't work out that way. I signed every single one of those books! So many wonderful readers came by and waited in line for a copy of Coveted. I was so grateful for the folks who stopped by. After signing, I had such a wonderful afternoon checking out the booths! I snagged some great ARCs and some cool stuff. My hunt began to find Batman or Superman paraphernalia for my husband. (Had to shop for the kids too. LOL)

On Friday, I had a panel with some fabulous ladies. The Paranormal Love Potion panel was so much fun. There were a few authors I hadn't met before so it was great to see them in person. I had read and enjoyed Aprillynne Pike's book, WINGS, and it was great to sit next to her and talk about what we love about paranormal romance. After the panel I got to sign with the rest of the panelists. My day wasn't over yet. I spent some time shopping with Marjorie Liu and we got some of the cutest T-shirts.

Saturday and Sunday was full of even more shopping, panels, and well more books. And no, sadly I didn't see any celebrities. I tried, I really did, but I didn't get lucky. *sigh*

Edited to add: I almost forgot that I did see Adrian Paul from the Highlander series. That counts, doesn't it? :)

Since I had so much fun at Comic Con--even though I didn't see Nathan Fillion--I'd love to share some of the goodies I got with you. :D
On one side is Spartacus (hello, there soldier!) and the other side is The Walking Dead

Check out the Spartacus bag I snagged! The booth was amazing--and packed--and I'd love to share the bag and some Comic Con swag with you. Just leave a comment for a chance to win. I'll pick a winner next Monday when I get back from RWA in Anaheim.

What a cool bag. I love Spartacus and was sad to hear that the next season will be the last. I would love to have seen the Marvel panel and Robert Downey Jr. Thanks for the giveaway, Shawntelle.
